THE CANCER ASTROLOGICAL SIGN

Born between 21st June and 22nd July, the Cancer sign belongs to the water element of the zodiac, with an astrological symbol represented by a crab. Just like the symbol, Cancers are known for their ability to exist in both material and emotional realms. They are among the most challenging of the Zodiac signs to get to know, very sensitive, and emotional, caring deeply about their family and home matters. In addition to being the fourth sign of the zodiac, Cancer is also ruled by the moon, the celestial body that represents self-care, comfort, and maternal energies. People born under this sign tend to be domestically oriented, they love personal sanctuaries that are cozy and feel safe. They quickly adopt the role of a caregiver, but when they invest emotionally in other people, they risk blurring the line between attentive nurturing and controlling behavior.

I retired from the Defense Dept after over 30years. I serviced in the United States Army and was stationed at Ft Hood and Wildflecken, Germany.I live in Florida enjoying the hot weather and sunshine. I have two Shih tzu dogs Gg and Mason that spend their day trying to make me wish I was still working.A good aspect of retirement is being able to what I wanted to do instead of having to do. The what I wanted to do is write children’s books. I enjoy reading and gardening and many other activities.
